Liddy is kids' furniture with a second life. These chairs and tables served a primary school for years, until the school had to replace them. Worn out, covered in dull, scratched lacquer and dark stains, they were headed for the bulk waste. After countless hours of sanding in our studio, the warm beech came back to light, finished with organic beeswax to bring out the beech grain. The legs are dipped in colors butter yellow, peach pink and sage green. The table top is painted butter yellow. Playful yet restrained. Made to be used, made to last.
