Four dining chairs, dated and dark, found as a set. Beneath the old finish was beautiful walnut and a design with potential. Each chair was sanded back completely, until the grain came to light, and finished with beeswax. The original brass screws were polished with steel wool, so their warm color returned. Seats and backrests are newly upholstered in a textured sage green fabric. Once dark and somber, now light and cheerful. Forgotten once, now they matter again.
