Four spindle-back chairs, found on the street in different places. Each came in its own color and its own shape. Sanded back to the wood and finished with beeswax, they were given one thing in common: a clean line of subtle jade green. One is dipped at the legs. One is painted entirely jade green, because its dark stain could not be sanded away. Two are dipped at the height of a dining table, so the green shows above the table edge. Four different chairs, one set. Forgotten once, together they matter again.
